They “secure” our apartment complex and literally don’t do any part of their job. People steal, people park in reserved, park in red, block lanes…and they literally just stand there. Worst company ever !!!! Yes, they are friendly folks (most) but I don’t feel safe with them as our company here.
was told to come in for interview. texted manager to confirm if interview was still taking place and did not hear anything for over a week. kept getting notification texts that a interview was scheduled but manager did not respond to any of my messages and kept pushing back the interview. took over another week to respond to my messages. manager finally reached back out and apologized and said we can still have the interview if I was interested. he did not give me a chance to respond and instead I was told through a text notification that I was not right for this role. overall very confusing and frustrating hiring process. do not waste your time applying for this company.
We have had Genesis Security for that few months watching over our apartment community. They are the friendliest security that we had since I moved here. This morning my friends car stalled out at 5:30am and Steve came to the rescue with jumper cables and got the cars electric working.

You’ll work at a site for a few months and then out of nowhere you’ll get pulled from the site for whatever (sometimes no) reason and they don’t even tell you until last minute. not consistent with hours, not good job security. I’ve been trying to get assigned a new site and all they say is oh we’ll reach out, oh what’s your info we’ll contact you, then they never do. sickening.

I worked for Genesis for over a year, unfortunately I moved so I had to quit. I appreciate everything they did for me as far as site's I could work with my disability, amazing co-worker's, Supervisor's to Mr. Rich that always listen to my concerns and has the Guards best interest at heart. There were some downs but not enough to give a bad review. If you want a good company to work for this is the company.
This company has provided security officers at our building in Downtown San Jose for about 3 years now. Excellent service especially through the pandemic when we really needed a strong security presence in our facility. The officers are professional and seem very loyal to Genesis Security. Office staff and management at Genesis are also assertive and pleasant to deal with. Whenever we have an event and need added staff at our building Genesis always assists even in this personnel crunch. I work with a Property Management company in the South Bay and we utilize Genesis’ service at 8 of our commercial and residential properties. I can say this is a quality company top to bottom. Officers are always neat in appearance, punctual and prompt to respond to any security issues that may arise. The officers also seem well trained and follow their prescribed protocol. As it goes for the management team they are class A professionals and always put their clients needs first (even when we’ve been in a pinch). They have a live 24/7 Dispatch center who are always helpful and full of information when we need details or specifics on security issues. We will continue to contract Genesis at our current properties and any additional which may need professional security services.

The employees of this company go above and beyond their expectations. I have properties guarded by this company and I have personally witnessed an employee assist a person having car problems on the lot of said property. This was not required of the employees, but they genuinely cared and helped in the matter which was ultimately resolved. Thank you Genesis for representing in the most positive way.
